Visit to Chand Bagh School
Muridke, Sheikhupura
15th of March, 2022
Some professors and students especially from physics department of the Government Islamia Graduate College Civil Lines Lahore visited the Chand Bagh school to attend a scientific Exhibition.
The students from 6th class to O level and A level presented their scientific projects, models and demonstrated well to explain the theoretical and practical approach of the scientific models
There were models regarding all scientific fields like physics, chemistry, biology and basic mechanical engineering but I think the models regarding development of organic medicine of garlic efficacy, a bottle rocket by pressure, free energy , smart city concept and smoke bomb were excellent.
Teachers especially Dr. Muhammad Javaid Afzal (Head QEC) asked many questions regarding basic principles behind the scientific models but on the other hand strongly encouraged the students for their work, confidence level and communication skills.
We are wholeheartedly thankful to the worthy principal , vice principal and staff of Chand Bagh School for the warm welcome with beauty of flowers and for their hospitality.
They showed us the whole school and described the history.
The grounds, the lawns library, the butterfly garden, the well equiped science labs, the class Rooms are all in good condition and full of beauty of discipline
However the surprising and praiseworthy things are the art gallery, music club, drama club and a great open air theater of two thousand capacity
Even in universities there is a deficiency of these departments which is need of hour to create aesthetic sense and softness of behaviour among students
I think the most important thing is the vast land of 190 acres which cannot be compared with other schools of pakistan , grounds and green gardens full of trees and flowers .
The worthy principal explained about goals and learning objectives for students in Chand Bagh school
They have much focus on games, co-curricular and extracurricular activities .
It is necessary for
every student to learn a life skill like , cooking , carpenter work , paint work, auto mechanic, electrician etc
Academic portion is about fifty percent which is strictly focused on conceptual and practical approach. They have a Cambridge syllabus. They are very much against cramming (رٹّا)
Then I thought O-Level means(اُچّا لیول)
I think the most important thing is the vast land of 190 acres, the grounds and green gardens full of trees and flowers
These are features which cannot be compared with other schools of pakistan.
It’s a common thing to praise your institute but that thing was repeatedly claimed and elaborated that our Chand Bagh school, our building and our students are better than the Sarkaari (Govt) schools .
That was extremely a brainstorming question and immediately induced many answers in the mind but then I think these answeres will develop hundreds of new questions.
The quesions which are being asked from last seventy six years and still are unanswered .
Now these questions are ‘The old age questions’ because these are being asked from last 76 years regarding educational standards and learning objectives of Govt and private Sector
These questions are well mature and like the grandfather ..
So I think just give respect to the questions and keep Quiet…
