1. Dr. Ilyas Yasin (USA)

Dr. Ilyas Yasin serves as Head of the Physical Evidence Section at the Acadiana Crime Lab in Louisiana, USA, bringing over 15 years of proven track record of applying scientific principles to advance justice. He holds a PhD in Physics with a specialization in material sciences, focusing on dye-sensitized solar cells.

2. Dr. Md. Khalid Hossain (Bangladesh)

Dr. M. Khalid Hossain has been working in the area of nanostructured materials, chemistry and physics of ceramics materials, and thin-film technology for over 15 years. He received his B.Sc. (2008) and M.Sc. degrees from Islamic University, Bangladesh in Applied Physics. He obtained his Ph.D. for the fundamental study of hydrogen isotopes behaviors in rare-earth oxides and perovskite proton conducting oxides in 2021 from Kyushu University, Japan. He is currently affiliated as a Senior Research Scientist in the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission. His current research work focuses on the preparation and characterization of nanostructured materials and nanoparticles, ceramics, energy materials, solar cells, and composites for various applications. Dr. Hossain has published more than 150 research papers in peer-reviewed SCI(E) journals, books, and technical conference proceedings relevant to materials science and engineering. He also reviewed a significant number of articles from reputed peer-reviewed journals in his discipline. 3. Dr. Aneeqa Sabah (Pakistan)

Dr. Aneeqa Sabah is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics at Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), Lahore, Pakistan. She earned her PhD in Nanotechnology from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand, in 2013 under Faculty development Program. Her research focuses the design, synthesis and assembly of materials with nanoscale control. Dr. Aneeqa has published extensively in reputable journals like Journal of Physical chemistry C, ACS Omega, Optical Materials and Journal of Polymer & Composites etc. contributing significantly to her field. Her job is teaching and supervising the several projects based on nano fabrication, nano films, inorganic membranes, quantum dots, hybrid materials, spectroscopy, composites, and metal doped sensing. In addition to her research, Dr. Sabah has been involved in organizing conferences and workshops at both national and international levels, and has served as an external examiner for various universities. 4. Dr. Najm ul Aarifeen (Pakistan)

Dr. Najm ul Aarifeen has been working in the area of condensed matter physics for over 11 years. He received his P.hD. degree from the Center of Excellence in Solid State Physics, University of the Punjab Lahore. He is currently affiliated as an assistant professor of physics at Govt. Islamia Graduate College Civil Lines, Lahore. 6. Dr. Azhar Abbas Zaidi (Pakistan)

Dr Azhar Abbas Zaidi is Assistant Professor of Physics at Government Islamia Graduate College, Civil Lines, Lahore. He has been teaching Physics at different levels in various institutions for the last 30 years. He completed his Masters in Physics from Government College, Lahore. Later, he secured his PhD degrees from University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore under the supervision of Prof. Dr Shahid Rafique in Dye-sensitized solar cells. To-date, 4 research papers are to his names which have been cited around 100 times so far. He has worked as Deputy Registrar, BS Program at Govt. Dr. Muhammad Imran Tariq received a Bachelor of Computer Science from Allama Iqbal University, Islamabad in 2003, M.Sc. 10. Dr. Nosheen Zafar (Pakistan)

I have completed my Post Doctorate from X’ian University of Architecture & Technology, X’ian, Shaanxi, China in 2019-2021 and worked on preparing electrode materials as catalysis for Dye sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC)/ (HER)Hydrogen Evolution Reaction and Super Capacitors. I completed my Ph.D and M.Phil from University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan in 2016 and main project was Synthesis, Characterization and Biomedical applications of magnetic material. My M.Sc was completed from University of Punjab, Lahore, Pakisan in Physics as electronics major subject in 1995. From 1997 to date I am working as a Govt. Employee in College Cadre. 20 international papers are published from 2014 to date along with 1 national paper and one book chapter. My expertise related to research includes wet chemical synthesis methods for biomedical application and Dye synthesized solar cell and related characterization analysis i.e. Structural analysis (XRD), morphological analysis (SEM, TEM and AFM), XPS, BET analysis, DFT analysis and optical (UV-VIS spectroscopy).

11. Dr. Fayyaz Javed (China)

I am Dr. Fayyaz Javed, currently working as a research fellow at Shenzhen Technology University, China. My research focuses on ultrafast high-power lasers, non-linear optics, HHGs, and mode-locked oscillators. I have worked extensively on kilowatt-level Thin Disk (TD) multi-pass amplifiers and Innoslab lasers, which are key technologies in free-space solid-state lasers. I completed my Ph.D. at the Beijing Institute of Technology in 2022 and have published over 10 papers in international journals. In addition to my research, I have had the opportunity to serve as visiting faculty at the University of Gujrat and worked as a lecturer at GC University Faisalabad. I completed my Master’s degree from UET Lahore in 2014.

12. Dr. Faryal Idrees (Pakistan)

Dr. Faryal Idrees (HEC Approved Supervisor) has published 66 SCI papers/book chapters as author/coauthor in SCI journals with well-renowned publishers. Her impact factor is 355 with 49-i10- index, 33-h index. She provided her services as a reviewer to many International Journals. She has successfully guest edited two special issues of well-reputed journals. Currently, she is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics, University of the Punjab, Lahore. Where she has won a PSF-NSFCIV/Phy/P-PU(31), entitled “Solar-Light-Driven Simultaneous Hydrogen Generation and Water
Purification by Synergetic Adsorption And Photocatalysis”. She completed her post-doctoral fellowship from Photocatalysis and Nanotechnology, Institute of Technical Chemistry, Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz University of Hannover, Germany under Alexander-vonHumboldt-Stiftung, one of the prestigious award in Germany. She is among the 2% Pakistani females who have gotten this opportunity so far. She worked there as a senior scientist and developed a new synthesis route to attain high molecular hydrogen production (renewable energy resources). Moreover, bachelor and master students conducted their research under her supervision. She completed her PhD in July 2015 in materials physics and chemistry from Beijing Institute of Technology, China. She is awarded by Distinguished and Excellent Student awards consecutively two
times in 2013 and 2014. In PhD, her research work focused on materials synthesis, optical properties, photocatalysis and energy storage/conversion devices. During PhD, she developed a photocatalytic degradation setup in her lab. One of her work, based on green energy materials for energy storage/conversion devices is highly appreciated in scientific society and reported by renowned blogs: science daily and physics organization. Other than these she has also participated in different international conferences, workshops and science forums. More particularly, she presented her work in Malaysia, Berlin, Frankfurt, Dresden and Russia (Saint Petersburg). She did her M.Phil in 2011 and B.Sc(Hons) Computational Physics in 2009 from Centre for High Energy Physics, University of the Punjab. She secured the highest CGPA 4.0/4.0 in M.Phil. She secured 4th position among all sessions of B.Sc(Hons) and 3rd in her class. During B.Sc(Hons) attained Outstanding
Student Scholarship by HEC and Merit Scholarship from Department. She worked with the Department of Physics, UOL from 2015-2019 and one of the pioneers who helped to establish the department. During her tenure in UOL, she developed a materials synthesis and project labs. Among these, the materials synthesis lab is in a good working condition and producing a large number of masters. Moreover, she worked as a Co-PI of a PSF-NSFC Joint Proposal: “Design and Construction of Photocatalytic Materials for Efficient Hydrogen Generation”. She developed a photocatalysis lab under the same PSF-NSFC project. Moreover, she organized the first international conference of the Department of Physics as a conference secretary: “International Conference on Materials Science and Nanotechnology”, which was a big success. During her stay in Germany, she participated as an international advisor of many conferences organized by the Department of Physics, The University of Lahore.
